How To ObjectIn the developers documents he says that this site is the last available in Drumbeg. It made us curious. Why would they say this? So we went looking.
We marked in the green area, it is the development site LA05/2022/0033/F this whole website is about. The red line we also marked in as the original images are black and white it outlines the area with plans drawn up to build over all the fields adjoining.
These drawings show that our little site is key to a plan joining the nodes. Drumbeg East and West.
We talk about it in Q5, in the section titled ‘we have seen the future’ and these are just the drawings we found online.
Below is a different development just below the one we are objecting to on what is known locally as Crabtree Corner. This document was from 2020. We have put the current site in again in Green as above. The area outlined in red is again planned for housing. This document was created in 2020.
The document speaks of – ‘Approximately 40 units on this site’. ‘A modest and natural expansion of Drumbeg’ ‘The necessary Infrastructure is available and there are good links to both the A1 and M1.’
These are just documents found across the internet. How many other developers plans not left lying about will be warmly welcomed by LCCC Planners. They care most about their PROFIT – not our homes or environment not climate change not the failing infrastructure. They will take our peace and quality of life and leave with the money.
