We regret to inform you that despite our best efforts, our case has not been added to the agenda for the upcoming Planning Committee meeting on Monday, May 13th. We understand and share your frustration, especially for those who have once again rearranged their schedules, arranged childcare, or taken time off work to participate.

It’s disheartening to experience the lack of organization and consideration from the LCCC planners. As unpaid members of the community, we sacrifice our valuable time and energy to engage in these committees, only to face repeated disappointments due to poorly managed processes.

The timing of this announcement, just two full working days before the meeting, is simply unacceptable. Other councils give participants 5 working days notice.

We believe that community members deserve better communication and planning from the LCCC authorities responsible. Given the apparent backlog, it’s not unreasonable to expect at least a week’s notice for such important matters.

Rest assured, we are actively advocating for improved procedures and transparency within the planning process. Our voices matter, and we will continue to demand the respect and consideration we deserve as valued members of this community.

We apologize once again for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your ongoing support and understanding as we navigate these challenges together.

Stay tuned for further updates, and let’s continue to stand united in our efforts to create positive change within our community.

Warm regards,

Quarterlands Group
