Important Update: LCCC Planning Committee Meeting Postponed

Dear Quarterlands Community,

The much-anticipated LCCC Planning Committee meeting, which we have all been preparing for, has been postponed at the last minute again. The exact rescheduled date remains uncertain, with speculations ranging from a couple of weeks to a later timeframe. Unfortunately, no official confirmation is available at this time.

In a peculiar turn of events, the meeting agenda was briefly published on the planning portal late last night, only to be unpublished this morning.

In other news: The planning portal experienced technical difficulties during the day, and while it is now back online, as of the time of this post (Friday, February 2, 2024, 8:30 PM), there is no indication of the agenda being available for Mondays scheduled meeting.

We then heard late afternoon that this development will not be heard on Monday. Again members of the group had negotiated the day off with their employers. We understand the inconvenience the postponement may cause, we know we had messages saying people were going to join us at LCCC and we share in your frustration. However it does mean that the committee will have time to read the documents we have prepared in answer to the developers November December avalanche.

Rest assured, we will keep you updated on any developments as soon as we receive official information. Your continued support is invaluable, and we appreciate your understanding during this uncertain period.

Thank you for standing with us in defense of our community and the Lagan Valley Regional Park.
